چکیده

Abstract Background Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors digestive system. However, its targeted therapy develops at a slow pace. Thus, exploring mechanisms behavior gastric cells crucial to exploit treatment. Mammalian never-in-mitosis A (NIMA)-related kinases (NEKs) are considered play significant role in cell proliferation. no study has reported on NIMA family proteins cancer. Methods Bioinformatics analysis was employed clarify expression patterns NEK1–NEK11 and their effects prognosis. The NEK7 immune infiltration related pathways were also analyzed. At level, 5-ethynyl-2-deoxyuridine, cycle, Cell Counting Kit-8 assays utilized effect mouse subcutaneous model revealed regulating proliferation vivo. Results that upregulated poor T-stage, which closely associated with Further showed correlated multiple as well cancer-related pathways. experiments indicated promoting proliferation, while absence could lead inhibition G1/S arrest. Conclusion exerts regulatory tumor infiltration.

Down-regulation of microRNA-205 promotes gastric cancer cell proliferation.

OBJECTIVE Increasing evidence indicates that MicroRNAs, a class of small RNA molecules, play crucial roles in tumorigenesis, through affecting cell proliferation, apoptosis and metastasis. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of miR-205 on gastric cancer cell proliferation. MATERIALS AND METHODS The expression of miR-205 was examined in the gastric cancer tissues and cell lines. ...

Netrin-4 as a biomarker promotes cell proliferation and invasion in gastric cancer

Gastric cancer (GC) is the second most common cause of cancer-related death with limited serum biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis. Netrin-4 (Ntn4) is a laminin-related secreted molecule found to regulate tumor progression and metastasis. However, it is completely unknown whether Ntn4 has roles in GC development. Here, we first reported Ntn4 knockdown significantly suppressed cell proliferat...

USP22 maintains gastric cancer stem cell stemness and promotes gastric cancer progression by stabilizing BMI1 protein

Increased ubiquitin-specific protease 22 (USP22) has been associated with poor prognosis in several cancers including gastric cancer. However, the role of USP22 in gastric tumorigenesis is still unclear. Gastric cancer stem cells have been identified and shown to correlate with gastric cancer initiation and metastasis. In this study, we found that silencing of USP22 inhibited proliferation of g...

ISL1, a novel regulator of CCNB1, CCNB2 and c-MYC genes, promotes gastric cancer cell proliferation and tumor growth

Islet-1 (ISL1) belongs to the LIM homeodomain transcription factor family, which is specifically expressed in certain tissue types only. Previously, we reported that ISL1 is aberrantly overexpressed in gastric cancer (GC). However, its role in GC is not clear. Here, we report that ISL1 is aberrantly upregulated not only in human gastric carcinoma tissues but also in some GC cell lines. Upregula...

LncRNA Miat Promotes Proliferation of Cervical Cancer Cells and Acts as an Anti-apoptotic Factor

There are a sub-population of cells in tumor tissues known as cancer stem cells (CSCs) which have similar features with stem cells, including self-renewal and differentiation capacity. Recently, it was established that not only stem cells factors such as Oct4, but also ES-associated lncRNAs are contributing to various regulatory aspects of CSCs. Myocardial infarction associated transcript (MIAT...
